Choice to live a excellent life.....

I believe the choice to be excellent begins when we align our thoughts and words with the intention to require more from yourself.... read this and love it!

"Freely we have received, freely we should give." Matt. 10:18

Friday, July 10, 2009

O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty;
Nor do I involve myself in great matters,
Or in things too difficult for me.
Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child rests against his mother,
My soul is like a weaned child within me.
O Darlene, hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever!
Psalm 131

God is good! Nothing changes that. He always responds out of love. What a picture of the perfect Father! Thank God for His cords of LOVE that are always drawing us. We love HIM because His first loved us! What peace we can have! There is peace and joy in believing. Our peace and joy are not based on circumstance, on others, just on Him. By faith, Darlene, rest in that love like a weaned child rests against her mother.

Nanny's knee surgery went great! Donna,David,Papa and I meet Nanny in her room after being in recovery for an hour. She was half awake but the first thing she asked me was how Memo was doing. She also wanted to know where Daryl was. We let her know that he had not been yet and that he needed to be moved to the bottom of her favorite list! She then started to speak in tongues we think. Because we did not know what she was saying. I am so blessed to have Papa and Nanny as parents. I love the way they always think of other first, so giving,and they love the Lord and each other so much!
Daddy and I went to the Tech game today and watch Patricia cheer the team to victory! She is the best cheerleader on the field!

Josiah and I bonded Thursday night when he spent the night! He was so sick throwing up and his stomach hurt so much. He wanted his mom. I was going to take him home at 3:00 am but he stopped crying and we watched a couple of hours of tv. It is quite a memory for me and one that I am glad is just a memory now!

I love you all and am so proud of you.

Charlie's vet visit

Thanks Kristin for posting the reenactment of Charlie's visit to the vet. Everyone at Dr. Orr's could not believe that the cat was staying in the purse. I have well behaved children and animals!
